Time to meet Tim, Consultant at Protify. This committed enthusiast is one of Protify’s first team members. He is the regular point of contact for many clients. Tim can be found in or on the water in his spare time, he likes to swim and sail.
What do you do at Protify?
Tim guides organisations in setting up and improving management systems, including ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and ISO 27701, and also has extensive experience with ISAE 3000 (SOC 2) and ISAE 3402 processes.
A particular focus is on alarm centres, where Tim supports customers in meeting the strict requirements of EN 50518, setting up hosted concepts and controlling the entire alarm chain.
His biggest challenge?
According to Tim, that lies in convincing organisations that information security is not an IT party, but an organisation-wide responsibility. “Many companies find it a complex issue at first and underestimate the culture change required. But if I notice that a customer really understands it and sees why it is important, then my goal has been achieved.”
What energises him? Satisfied clients and achieving or maintaining certifications or assurance statements. “Especially when a sustainable cooperation develops, in which we grow from guidance to certification or ISAE audit to structural support through managed services.”
