Martijn joined Protify on December 1, 2025 as a Consultant.
Martijn was born and raised in Leiden. According to Martijn, what makes Leiden such a great city is the perfect balance between a lively, busy environment and a sense of calm.
Sports play an important role in his life. He has been dedicated to strength training for years and can be found in the gym three to four times a week. Health is important to him, and he enjoys diving into new challenges. Exploring and trying new things suits him well, both in sports and in food. Martijn is also a skilled cook. As a child, he watched chefs in the kitchen with great admiration. That fascination led him to pursue culinary training. After completing his education, he worked in several restaurants, including well known establishments such as Bregje and Van der Valk.
Still, he wanted more. That ambition led him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in ICT Information Security Management. After graduating, he came into contact with Protify through his network. As he puts it: “I immediately felt a connection during the first conversation.” The openness and honesty appealed to him, while the professionalism and clear structure inspired confidence. He experiences the team as supportive and the atmosphere as positive. He values the organized and structured way Protify operates.
In his free time, Martijn enjoys watching videos of well known chefs and then experimenting in the kitchen himself. He likes cooking for friends and also enjoys going out with friends on weekends for a beer.
What is still on his bucket list? Taking a trip around the world.
